What Actually Changed
Cinematic product video used to be a gated skill. You needed gear, lighting, a person who knew how to edit, and enough budget to make it worth the effort.
That gate is mostly gone now. Tools like Seedance 2.0 on Higgsfield let you type a prompt, drop in a reference image, and get something that reads as intentional rather than obviously fake.
My read: this is the first year I would actually put AI video in front of a paying audience without flagging it as an experiment.
