Connect Figma to Claude with MCP to Build Branded Ads

MCP is the connector that lets Claude reach into Figma and work with it directly. Without it, Claude is just guessing at design in a chat window.

With it, you can sit inside your workflow and ask for images and ad concepts that pull from your real files. The interesting part is that Figma handles the image-level execution while Claude handles the direction.

My read is that most people overcomplicate this. It is a pipe between two tools you already use. That is the whole trick.

This is a tool for speed and volume, not for finished work. It is best when you want to test ten ideas before lunch instead of one.

Use it to sketch concepts, try simple layouts, and see which direction feels right. Nothing too complex. The moment an idea earns real budget or attention, that is your cue to move on.

Here is the practical part - hand the rough draft to an actual Figma freelancer to finish. Claude gets you to a strong starting point. A human designer takes it the rest of the way. That split is where the real efficiency lives.
