# The AI Tech Stack I Actually Use to Run a Business

**Topic:** AI Tools

A breakdown of the specific AI tools I reach for across email, images, automation, and code. No coding background required. Just the picks that survived real use.

## The short version

- OpenAI and Claude cover most of your thinking, writing, and coding needs.
- N8n handles the repetitive workflows so you stop doing them by hand.
- Image tools like NanoBanana and Weavey replace expensive design rounds.
- You learn these by subscribing and trying, not by researching forever.

## Start With the Two Tools You'll Use Every Day

OpenAI and Claude are the backbone. One for general thinking, drafting emails, and replacing half of what I used to Google. The other for anything close to code.

My read is that most people overthink which one to pick. Get both, use them side by side for a week, and you'll feel the difference fast.

Claude tends to be cleaner when I'm building something technical. OpenAI is the one I open first thing in the morning for ordinary work.

## Email Is Where the Time Comes Back

Email eats more hours than anyone admits. AI fixes the writing part, not the strategy part.

I draft fast inside OpenAI, then edit so it still sounds like me. The trap is letting the tool write something generic and shipping it untouched. People can smell that.

There are dedicated AI email platforms that handle templates and sequences too, but for a non-technical owner, a strong general model plus your own judgment covers more than you'd expect.

## Images Without Hiring a Designer

NanoBanana, HiggsField, and Weavey.ai do work that used to mean a brief and a wait. You describe what you want and iterate in minutes.

The quality has gotten genuinely good. I've made product mockups and post visuals that I'd have paid a freelancer for a year ago.

One caveat - these tools reward specific prompts. Vague input gives you vague output. Treat it like directing someone, not pressing a button.

## Automation Is the Part That Compounds

N8n is where the real leverage hides for a business owner. It connects your tools and runs the boring chains of steps you keep doing manually.

Think lead comes in, gets tagged, gets a reply, lands in a sheet. You build that once and it runs while you sleep.

It looks intimidating at first. It isn't, really. You drag boxes and connect them. No coding degree needed, just patience for the first build.

## Building Sites and Code Without the Background

Repl.it is the one I keep coming back to. Lovable and Base44 sit in the same space if you want to build a site or a simple app by describing it.

You're not learning to code so much as learning to ask for what you want clearly. The tool fills the gap.

This is the category that surprised me most. A non-technical person can now ship something functional in an afternoon. Rough, but real.

## The Only Way to Actually Learn This

Stop researching and start subscribing. The free tiers are enough to feel whether a tool fits your work.

Nobody learns this from a comparison chart. You learn it by opening the thing on a Tuesday and giving it a real task.

I started filming these videos the same way - badly, then better. The tools work the same. Begin today, fix it as you go.
